SUMMARY:On the Green: Golf 101
DESCRIPTION:Play Like a Girl is teaming up with Ellevate Nashville to host “On the Green: Golf 101\,” a virtual clinic for women and girls.  \nThe event will cover basic introductory topics like how the game is played\, how to read and use a scorecard\, terms used on the course\, and basic fundamentals of the swing. Most importantly\, the audience will learn about the history of women in the sport\, and will hear from women who’ve leveraged golf for career success.  \nThe women in the room won’t be competing for a trophy per se but will return to their workplaces where the competition for advancement takes place every day. Our goal is that attendees will be inspired to take a swing at golf for themselves.
