Coffee with the Governor

We are grateful to be hosted by the governor’s office for a virtual meeting with Gov. Bill Lee. Under his leadership, Tennessee was named the number one best fiscally managed states in the country, the best business climate in the U.S., number one in the nation for advanced industry job growth and the best state for small business growth.

As the state and the rest of the nation continues to maneuver and grow through the recent developments, we are grateful to have an exclusive opportunity to “sit down” with Governor Lee and learn where he thinks Nashville and Tennessee are going.

Upon registration, you will receive an email with a link to submit questions! Be sure to send them in by Sunday July 5th.

This event is free and open to Nashville Junior Chamber members only.

Virtual #GirlsRockSTEM Summit

Play Like a Girl announces its 2020 Virtual #GirlsRockSTEM Summit, in partnership with Wells Fargo.

Play Like a Girl’s 10th Annual #GirlsRockSTEM Summit is going virtual! This 3-hour experience is specially designed for middle school girls NATIONWIDE, who are eager to participate in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

We recognize that many families in our community are still reeling financially, emotionally and, for some, physically from the effects of COVID-19. Because we believe in equality and economic opportunity for all girls - no exceptions, we will not allow your girls (our girls) to be left further behind because of lack of access or opportunity. That is why we have decided to make this event complimentary to a limited number of girls nationwide.

The 3-hour conference will be packed with conversations and demonstrations from diverse women in STEM careers across industries. The girls will enjoy a special dance party to end an afternoon well spent! The live virtual experience will be supported with an on-demand workshop series where girls get hands-on with more women in STEM.

This is a virtual event. All event details will be sent to the email used to register for this event.
