Lace up your boots, grab your hard hat and meet us at Skanska’s construction job site at the War Memorial Building where creative problem solving and diverse ideas take center stage at an Inside Look at Skanska on June 21.

Together, we’ll explore a wide range of careers in construction through a real-life tour of an active construction site, a project-based challenge, group mentoring and more—all while making friends with our Play Like a Girl peers!

Inside Look is a flagship corporate field trip program specially designed to provide your middle school student the opportunity to gain insights into the dynamic world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at one of the nation’s leading companies. Women leaders across Skanska will share their experiences in the construction industry including the best high school courses and college majors to help your middle schooler prepare for a career in this male-dominated industry. Lunch, games and prizes galore included.

Dress Code + Personal Protective Equipment:

• Closed-toe shoes—preferably hiking boots (no dress shoes)
• Long pants
• Short or long sleeve shirt

Arrive Early
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time.

LATE ARRIVAL, CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY
A program participant who has incurred three (3) documented “same-day cancellations” and/or “no-shows” may be subject to restriction from any future programs or events and dismissal from Play Like a Girl entirely, in accordance with policy guidelines.
