Play Like a Girl STEM+ Camp – Murfreesboro

We’re bringing our one-of-a-kind STEM+ Camp experience to Murfreesboro this Spring Break! Middle school girls participate in lab activities and mock criminal investigations led by women in criminology or the science of crime. Students apply math and science concepts and are trained in the fundamental processes of collecting evidence including DNA, fingerprints, hair and fibers, simulated blood spatter and shoe prints. Additionally, they learn how to process the evidence, conduct interviews, and formulate theories while working within a team environment. Throughout the week, students explore unique career opportunities in forensic science, develop critical knowledge and skills, and hone critical thinking and presentation skills. Exciting field trips are also available.

Lunch, snacks and physical activity provided daily.
