We are thrilled to announce the launch of a special blog series, where we will feature the inspiring stories of our 2025 Play Like a Girl Honors awards recipients and members of the Honorary Host Committee. Each year, the Play Like a Girl Honors recognizes outstanding women who have demonstrated leadership, advocacy, and innovation across a variety of sectors. This year, we are excited to honor a truly exceptional group of women who have made tremendous contributions to their industries and communities.

2025 Honorees:

Sarah Daley, Director of Information Security Risk & Compliance, Bridgestone Americas

Sarah has been an unwavering advocate for advancing women in technology, specifically through her leadership in Bridgestone Women’s Initiative Network (BWIN) and Women in Technology Tennessee (WITT). A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, she is passionate about empowering women in technology, volunteering with organizations like Play Like a Girl, and advocating for diversity and inclusion. Outside of her professional work, Sarah enjoys community organizing and hiking with local outdoor backpacking clubs. Sarah’s commitment to advancing gender equity within the tech sector is reflected in her work, and we are thrilled to celebrate her as one of our honorees.

Trinity Christiana, Senior Instructor at Nashville Software School and Co-Founder of Repped in Tech

Trinity’s entrepreneurial drive and unwavering commitment to social impact have positioned her as a trailblazer in her field. By empowering individuals from underrepresented communities to build both technical skills and professional confidence, she is opening doors to opportunities in tech. Passionate about education, Trinity teaches adult learners how to code, guiding them toward meaningful careers in the industry. Recognized as the 2024 Software Engineer of the Year by the Nashville Tech Council, she continues to champion accessible education and diversity in tech. Trinity’s journey inspires young women everywhere to take bold steps toward creating the change they wish to see.

Play Like a Girl Alumna Award

We will recognize an outstanding Play Like a Girl alumna at the Honors. This young woman will be celebrated for her academic achievements and community leadership. In addition, she will be presented with a college scholarship to help her further her education and continue to make a difference in the world. We are excited to honor U.S. Bank with the Social Impact Award for its dedication to advancing gender equity, empowering women, and supporting girls in STEM. Through its employee volunteer initiatives and partnership with Play Like a Girl, U.S. Bank has been a key ally in empowering the next generation of women leaders. This recognition highlights the company’s extraordinary efforts to create a more inclusive community through financial literacy and STEM education.

Honorary Host Committee

We are also excited to introduce the Honorary Host Committee for the 2025 Play Like a Girl Honors. This group of esteemed individuals brings together leaders from diverse industries who share a commitment to uplifting women and girls, empowering the next generation of leaders, and ensuring that their stories are told.
