The Girls Rock STEM+ Summit is a first-of-its-kind immersive career exploration experience that transforms the classrooms and hallways of LEAD Public Schools into a festival of future possibilities.
Created for girls in grades 6–12, this one-day experience connects students with inspiring industry leaders through hands-on activities and real-world career experiences that help them explore what they love, discover what they do well, and imagine where it could take them.
Held in honor of National STEM Day, the Summit celebrates bold ideas, new possibilities, and the confidence to pursue a future in STEM.

Who can attend?
Girls in grades 6–12 through participating schools and community organizations.
Is the Summit free?
Yes. Thanks to generous sponsors and community partners, attendance is free for participating students.
How long is the event?
The Summit runs from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM with a full day of interactive programming.
What should students wear?
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended since students will be participating in hands-on activities throughout the day.

About Play Like a Girl
Play Like a Girl is a national nonprofit founded on the belief that girls who play on a team grow into women with the confidence to lead.
Our mission is to level the playing field for girls by leveraging the skills gained through sport to prepare young women for careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Through mentorship, hands-on learning, workplace experiences, and career exploration, we’re building a diverse pipeline of future innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders—one girl at a time.
